Where we’re from
Brothers Tom and Howard started Furniture Choice on a simple idea that stylish, quality furniture should be affordable to all.
Tom worked at online giant Amazon, and then Heal’s — known for their design-led furniture.
Howard is a furniture designer with over 20 years’ manufacturing experience — his factories supply well-known high street brands around the world.
The plan was to combine that experience and offer quality design and feel-good prices, with delivery in days not months.
They joined forces and Furniture Choice went live in October 2005.
Furniture And Choice: In 2020 we changed our name to reflect our new purpose — to make it easy for customers to transform their homes.
Now, with a stream of achievable room ideas, free delivery, free returns, 0% finance and great customer support —we offer more than furniture choice, we offer furniture and choice.
How we work

Quality control starts in the factories. We have on-the-ground teams that oversee design and testing to official UK safety standards.
Service
Trust is essential when it comes to buying furniture online, so our in-house, UK customer service team offers genuine support over email, live chat and phone. They’re judged on customer satisfaction, not sales.
Independent reviews show we consistently offer a 5-star service. We’re not perfect and get things wrong sometimes, but we’ll always make it right.
Sustainability
We’re committed to sustainability. All our wood products are compliant with European Timber Regulation (EUTR) standards and we only use timber from managed plantations. All cartons are made from recyclable pulp and we’ve created an online Recycle or Donate tool to help people recycle their unwanted furniture. Read our sustainability policy to find out more.
